Embassy Public Affairs Organizes Networking Training for Academic Alumni
Public Affairs Alumni Coordinator Ágnes Frehr organized a two-day first ever training and networking session for leaders of alumni organizations in Hungary. Public Affairs Officer Michael Hurley opened the session, explaining the Embassy’s interest in reversing the decline in numbers of Hungarians going to the United States for higher education. Attendees were from Hungarian organizations who sponsor educational exchange with the U.S.
Eight organizations were present: Fulbright Association, Hungarian American Enterprise Scholarship Fund, the Harvard Club, IvyPlus, Calasanctius Training Program, Kellner Association, Hungarian Association of British Alumni and Hungarian American Coalition Congress Internship Program.
