Hungarian Field of Dreams: DCM Levine Inaugurates New Baseball Diamond
On October 15, 2008, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Jeffrey Levine joined representatives of the Hungarian Baseball Federation and the Érd Baseball Association to inaugurate a new regulation baseball field in Érd. The new field is a milestone in the development and promotion of baseball in Hungary. In his remarks, DCM Levine emphasized the importance of sports in strengthening the bonds of friendship between Hungary and the U.S.
