U.S. Embassy Promotes Study in the United States

On October 15, Consular Officer Erik Schnotala and Cultural Affairs Assistant Kati Biro visited the Ervin Szabó Regional Public Library in Budapest’s 18th District, to promote the idea of studying in the United States. Mr. Schnotala and Ms. Biro spoke about the tremendous opportunities in higher education in America and the ways of going about applying to get there. Afterwards a Fulbright Alumnus, Márton Eörsi talked about his student experiences in the United States. He illustrated his lecture with slides.

More than forty students from several local high schools and their parents attended the program and participated in the question and answer session that followed the presentations.
