U.S. Embassy Book Donation to the University of Szeged
Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) Jeffrey Levine presented the “American Bookshelf,” a collection of recent books on American society, government and culture, to the American Studies Department of the University of Szeged on October 20, 2008.
After the donation ceremony, the DCM met with about fifty students and faculty from the University and discussed the U.S. elections with them. Later, DCM Levine gave remarks on corporate governance at an American Chamber of Commerce symposium hosted by the Business Studies Department of the University. He also gave interviews to the local TV and to the correspondent of MR1, Hungary’s national radio service.
