Police Clearance - Fingerprints

The Hungarian Immigration Office usually requests a police clearance from the U.S. for Hungarian residency permits.

The clearance may be obtained from the Police Department in the place of U.S. residence. It is also possible to get federal clearance through the FBI. For more information on how to send the application please visit their web site at: www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/fprequest.htm

The Criminal Technique Division of the Budapest Police Headquarters can fulfill requests for fingerprints. They are able to provide the fingerprint chart required for the FBI's federal clearance.
