What is a Non-Immigrant Visa?
Non-immigrant visas are for citizens of other countries coming to the United States temporarily. This visa allows you to request permission from an immigration inspector to enter the United States. It does not guarantee entry into the United States.
Who Needs a Non-Immigrant Visa?
A non-immigrant visa is required by anyone seeking temporary admission into the United States. Citizens of countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program are exempt from the visa requirement. Non-immigrant visas cover visits for tourism, business, work or study.
