Passport Fees
All fees are payable in U.S. dollars (USD) in cash, travelers checks, money orders or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express, and Discover), or the equivalent in Hungarian Forints (HUF). We do not accept personal checks.

A routine renewal of a ten (10) year adult passport is 75 USD;

A routine renewal of a five (5) year minor passport (for those under age 16) is 85 USD;

A lost, stolen or mutilated passport replacement is 100 USD for adults and 85 USD for minors;

A first-time adult passport is 100 USD and a first-time minor passport is 85 USD.

Passport card costs $45 for a first-time adult passport applicant and $35 for all minor applicants under age 16, regardless of whether they are previous passport book or card holders, unless you apply for the passport card together with the passport book. In this case you have to pay $10 additionally to the passport fee. Adults who already have a fully valid passport book may apply for the card as a passport renewal by mail for a cost of only $20.
