What's New

  • As of February 1, 2008 the age requirement for two parent consent for minor passport applications will be raised from 14 to 16 years.

  • No FEAR Act
    Released by the Office of Civil Rights, U.S. Department of State (November 16, 2006)

  • Due to several recent incidents, the Embassy would like to remind all U.S. citizens that by law, U.S. passports must be carried at all times. The Police can stop you anytime, anywhere and can ask for your passport.  If you do not have your passport on you, the police can detain you until they are able to verify your citizenship.
