  • Appointment System for American Citizen Services
    The American Citizen Services Unit has introduced an Appointment System for all services, including passport renewals (and passport extra pages), birth registrations, notarial services, and general inquiries. Please make your appointment before you visit the Consular Section. Beginning July 1st, 2009, for non-emergency matters, only customers with appointments will be admitted into the Consular Section. Appointments may be made at any time via the link below or by phone 06 1 475 4164, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.   • Due to several recent incidents, the Embassy would like to remind all U.S. citizens that by law, U.S. passports must be carried at all times. The Police can stop you anytime, anywhere and can ask for your passport.  If you do not have your passport on you, the police can detain you until they are able to verify your citizenship.
