"Together-Együtt" Concert
The Center for Emerging Art and the Fabini Foundation will arrange a concert to promote cultural exchanges between the United States and Hungary. The "Together-Együtt" Concert will present U.S. violinist David Andai, Hungarian pianists Krisztina Szabó and Tamás Németh as well as the Ungária Piano Quartet (also from Hungary). Mr. Németh and the Ungária Piano Quartet are talented blind musicians, who have been known for their contribution to Hungarian music scene for many years.
The performance will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at 7:00 p.m., in the "Nádor Terem" of the Institute for the Blind (Budapest XIV, Ajtósi Dürer sor 39). Tickets are available at box offices or on the site.
Based in Miami, Florida, the Center for Emerging Art has been an on-going cultural exchange for the past four years bringing distinguished artists and musicians to Budapest, and to Miami-Dade County from Hungary. Their purpose is to promote a reciprocal two-way cultural exchange between the U.S. and Hungary thus providing performing opportunities for talented artists with disabilities while increasing public awareness regarding the role of arts.
