USAF Honor Guard Participates in the International Festival of Honor Guards and Military Bands

Ambassador April H. Foley attended the opening day of the Second International Festival of Honor Guards and Military Bands held July 27-29, 2007 in Miskolc, Hungary. The Festival featured honor guard ceremonies and precision drill team performances by the US Air Force Honor Guard and other international participants. The USAF Honor Guard from Bolling Air Force Base, Washington DC, arrived in Miskolc on July 27th for its first-ever participation in the Festival and performed throughout the day on July 28. During the evening of July 27, Ambassador Foley and Brigadier General Snodgrass welcomed members of the Honor Guard in Miskolc. The Festival was also attended by teams from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, Greece and Hungary.
