Yale Summer Intern Program in Hungary Builds Bonds of Friendship
On July 30, 2008, Ambassador Foley attended the Yale Club reception at the Ludwig Museum. The event was held to recognize the nine Yale students who had internships in Budapest this summer.
The internships varied widely: the students worked at the ‘Republic of Art’ advertising agency, the Regional Center for Energy Policy Research, the International Centre for Democratic Transition, the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe, the Hungarian Parliament (with Member of Parliament Janos Horvath), in a film company, and at the Ludwig Museum. At the reception, the students shared the highlights of their experiences here in Budapest and were treated to a tour of the museum.
